PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food sufficiently manifesting antioxidative effect of astaxanthin by preventing adverse effect due to free radicals originating from active oxygen eliminated by the astaxanthin. SOLUTION: The food including astaxanthin is prepared by compounding ascorbic acid and the egg oil including much astaxanthin obtained from yolk extracted from eggs obtained from chickens administered with feed compounded with a powdery or grannular feed additive which is obtained by adding pressed oil obtained in a process extracting krill extract from the krill, to the residue obtained in the process, agitating and drying or a feed containing only the residue. |
