PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric water heater capable of always supplying hot-water at a desired temperature. SOLUTION: This water heater is provided with a hot-water heating tank 2 for containing a prescribed amount of water, a heating means for heating the water inside the hot-water heating tank 2, and a feed-water tank 3 for replenishing water into the hot-water heating tank. In this case, the device is constituted by providing an inflow water control chamber 105 inside the hot-water heating tank 2 in the vicinity of the feed-water inlet 33 from the feed-water tank 3 for mixing the hot-water inside the tank 2 with the water from the feed-water tank 3 and then for supplying it inside the hot-water heating tank 2. Accordingly, when the quantity of hot-water inside the hot-water heating tank 2 is decreased by use, the water from the feed-water tank 3 is heated through the inflow water control chamber 105 inside the hot-water heating tank 2 in accordance with the decreased quantity, and then it is replenished. Thus, different from the case where a large quantity of low-temperature water is replenished at once, water at a desired temperature can be always supplied without causing lowering in the hot-water temperature. |
