PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pigment mixture having a remarkably high hiding power and well mixable in each system in which the pigment mixture is used and simultaneously excluding the separation of the pigment/a colorant in the system. SOLUTION: This pigment mixture contains at least two components of a component A that is an Al2O3 flake coated with one or more kinds of metals, metal oxides and/or metal sulfides and a component B which is a needlelike or a spherical colorant. Furthermore, the component A contains a TiO2- and/or an Fe2O3-coated Al2O3 flake and the component B contains colored glass particles, carbon black, an organic color pigment and/or an inorganic color pigment. The components A and B are mixed in (10:1) to (10:1) ratio. Thereby, the pigment mixture is used in a varnish, a coating material, an automotive finishing agent, a printing ink, a plastic or a powder coating material, for coloring seeds, in a cosmetic preparation and for enhancing the value of a food. |
