PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover denitration performance as well as preventing poisoning by SOx by disposing a silver support alumina catalyst for denitration and deodorization in an exhaust gas line of a gas engine in gas engine and heat pump systems, and disposing a desulfurizing agent layer in a fuel leading pipe to the gas engine. SOLUTION: A compression refrigerator (a heat pump) is driven by a gas engine 1, combustion exhaust gas to be generated is discharged from a leading pipe 4 after heat-recovering with a radiator 6, a waste heat recovering apparatus 7, a cooler 8, and a heat exchanger 3 in a closing circuit composed of a heat medium circulating pump P. In the heat pump circuit, a heat medium discharged from compressors 9, 10 is led to an indoor apparatus to generate hot wind. The heat medium is circulated through an expansion valve 12 and an outdoor heat exchanger 14. In this case, a silver support alumina catalyst for denitration and deodorization is disposed in the exhaust gas line of the gas engine 1, a desulfurizing agent layer is disposed in the fuel leading pipe to the gas engine 1 so as to suppress deterioration of a performance by poisoning by SOx of the catalyst.
