PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring-energized hinge applicable to highly design- oriented fields without resistance since it has a simple appearance with no extra indentations. SOLUTION: A torsion spring bar 1 is secured to a rotating leaf 2 at one end and to a fixed leaf 3 at the other, and pintle pins joined on the extensions of the ends of the torsion spring bar 1 are fitted into a bearing sleeve part 5 provided in the rotating leaf 2 and into a bearing sleeve part 5 provided in the fixed leaf 3. A rotation operation tool 8 is inserted into a center rectangular hole in each pintle pin 4 integrally rotationally joined to the torsion spring bar 1 and is secured to each leaf after initial torsional deformation is imparted to the torsion spring bar 1.
