PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door closer capable of preventing the sound of flow from being generated when entrained air passes through a regulating valve in a flow regulating passage by causing the entrained air to remain in a predetermined portion so as not to enter the flow regulating passage. SOLUTION: A door closer main body 1 is provided with a third fluid chamber 16 communicated to a second fluid chamber 11 via a communication passage and a predetermined amount of air 5 is entrained into the third fluid chamber 16, the third fluid chamber 16 side passage opening 28 of the communication passage projecting toward the third fluid chamber 16 so as to be able to prevent the air 5 in the third fluid chamber 16 from entering a fluid chamber.
