PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To array articles by controlling the drive for each unit with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A plurality of conveyor units 2 are arranged in series, and the power from a motor 24 provided on only one unit is transmitted to a plurality of unit through a drive chain 4. In each unit, a roller 18 connected to the drive chain 4 and a roller 20 connected to a carrying chain 6 are connected to each other through an intermediate roller 22. When the intermediate roller 22 is pushed up by a pusher to be separate from the rollers 18, 20, the drive is disengaged. When the intermediate roller 20 is brought into contact with the rollers 18, 20, the drive is engaged.
