PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture image formation device free to connect various auxiliary carrier devices and excellent in productivity. SOLUTION: It is a picture image formation device to carry out picture image formation against a recording material to be carried, furnished with a controller 106 to control the whole of the picture image formation device, a print engine 107 to carry out picture image forming motion under control of the controller 106, at least one of auxiliary carrier means 102-105 to supplementarily carry the recording material to the engine under control of the controller and a communicating means 128 to carry out communication between the controller, the engine and the auxiliary carrier means, and the controller 106 receives specification information of the auxiliary carrier means 102-105 through the communicating means 128 and controls picture image formation timing of the engine 107 against a sheet carried from the auxiliary carrier means in accordance with the specification information of the auxiliary carrier means. |
