PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-quality formed cooked rice with coating, having neither loss in shape nor deformation, no permeation of batter into a formed cooked rice part in the case of using it with batter, consequently having no undesirable influence of batter on the taste of the interior of cooked rice. SOLUTION: This unfried food of formed cooked rice with coating is produced by forming cooked rice, previously roasting the formed cooked rice and providing the roasted cooked rice with coating. The unfried food of formed cooked rice with the coating is fried or not fried and can be distributed in a refrigerated state or in a frozen state. |
