PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a twisted yarn woven or knitted fabric comprising combined filament yarns of different shrinkage composed of polyester filament yarns different in shrinkability and having excellent fullness, body and stiffness. SOLUTION: This twisted yarn woven or knitted fabric is composed of a twisted yarn prepared by applying twists of 8,000-23,000 twist multiplier A A=T.DU1/2 [T is the number of twists (turns/m); D is denier]) to a combined filament yarn of different shrinkage of a highly shrinkable polyester filament yarn having >=2 denier single filament fineness and a low shrinkable polyester filament yarn having <=3 denier single filament fineness and having >=4% dry heat shrinkage percentage at 125 deg.C after twist setting and heat-setting, >=7 g thermal stress at 125 deg.C, >=2% dry heat shrinkage percentage at 150 deg.C after finishing and <=3 g thermal stress at 150 deg.C.
