PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medical film which has improved impact resistance and has excellent cuttability in place of a nonwoven fabric by mixing aliphatic polyester with polylactic acid. SOLUTION: The polylactic acid is a polymer composed substantially of only the monomer unit derived from L-lactic acid and/or D-lactic acid. The aliphatic polyester is preferably the aliphatic polyester formed by ring opening polymerization of cyclic lactones. The cyclic monomer is preferably, for example,ε-caprolactone or p-dioxanone. There is a method of directly manufacturing the film by feeding the respective raw materials of the mixture composed of the polylactic acid and the aliphatic polyester into the same extruder or a method of manufacturing pellets by once extruding the raw materials to a strand shape, then manufacturing the film again by the extruder. The mixing ratio of the polylactic acid to the aliphatic polyester is 95/5 to 50/50 by weight, more preferably 90/10 to 70/30. Further, the impact resistance of the film is >=8 kgf/mm.
