PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool which can manufacture at a low cost and also machine the inner groove without using an exclusive machine tool. SOLUTION: A cutting tool 1 is provided with a shank 2, a casing 4 for holding the shank 2 rotatably around the axis center 3, an operation member 5 arranged coaxially on the tip side of the shank 2 and a cutter 6 arranged on the outer periphery side of the operation member 5. The operation member 5 is constituted so as to communicate with the rotation of the shank 2 and move to the axis center 3 direction and further, plural cutter edges 16 of the cutter 6 are constituted so as to communicate with the movement of the operation member 5 and move to a radius direction. Respective cutter edges 16 have plural edges 21 formed so that the position of edge tip is shifted to the outside as heading for the rear end from the tip on their outside and the position of the edge tip is adjusted by the movement of the radius direction. This cutting tool 1 is mounted on a lathe while mounting the shank 2 on the main spindle 31 and connecting the casing 4 to the main spindle stand 32.
