PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide food stored in a packaging container in which a notch of the container is formed into a smooth shape and an acute angle portion is produced at a position spaced apart from a height position of an opening of the container as much as possible even if the acute angle portion is produced, safety feature when either a mouth or a tongue directly touches the opening portion of the packaging container is improved and further the food can be eaten safely. SOLUTION: This container has a notch 8 composed of a pair of recesses 9 oppositely positioned with a seal opening expected position being kept therebetween at an outer edge part of a seal section 5 of the container and an opening seal recess 10 protruded to be positioned in correspondence with the seal opening expected position and toward the inner side of the container, at the recess 9 in the notch 8, the inner corner part is arranged to be in a substantial arcuate shape toward the seal opening expected position, the inner side of the seal section extending along the outer edge of it, and the recess 9 and the seal opening recess 10 are set to be continuous from each other without passing through a bent part.
