PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the constitution of a support member, thereby to reduce the cost and to facilitate support on a form for a floor surface. SOLUTION: In a hollow slab construction method wherein a plurality of hollow slab tubes 3 are juxtaposed at prescribed intervals on the upper side of a form 2 for a floor surface and supported and fixed at prescribed positions and, after concrete 5 is placed and cured, a hollow floor surface is constructed by removing the form 2 for the floor surface, a support member 4 located between the form 2 and the hollow slab tube 3 and holding the hollow slab tube 3 on the form 2 is constituted of a backing member 9 supporting the lower side of the hollow slab tube 3, being formed in the shape of a semi-circular arc and also having engagement parts 11 in the opposite ends, a base member 10 located on the lower side of the backing member 9 and holding it, a first clip 7 of synthetic resin let down vertically from the bottom of the base member 10 through a through hole of the form 2 and also having an engagement part 7a to be engaged with the through hole and a second clip 8 which is inserted into a through hole formed longitudinally and axially in the center of the first clip 7 and thereby prevents deflection of the engagement part 7a of the first clip 7.
