PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning carrying device capable of enhancing loading weight and moving speed. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a part of ball screw shafts (straight line guiding axes) 8 and 9 set in parallel with each other on an identical plane, a pair of moving bodies 3 and 4 movable along the respective ball screw shafts 8 and 9, and a pair of servo-motors (driving source) 12 and 13 independently and reciprocally moving the respective moving bodies 3 and 4 along the respective ball screw shafts 8 and 9. The respective base end parts of a first arm 18 and a second arm 21 are rotatably pivoted to the respective moving bodies 3 and 4 around each axis normal to the moving directions of the moving bodies, the tip end part of the second arm 21 is rotatably connected with the intermediate part of the first arm 18 to constitute the positioning carrying device. By this constitution, since loading weight is uniformly distributed to the two servo- motors 12 and 13, loading weight can doubled, and since the revolving speed of each arm of 18, 21, 30 and 34 can be doubled by moving the paired moving bodies 3 and 4 in the opposite direction, the moving speed (lifting speed) of this positioning carrying device can thereby be enhanced.
