PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower an effect of a thermal expansion generated from hooking of a pulling mechanism of a reel in a fishing reel. SOLUTION: This fishing reel 9 has a pulling mechanism and a spool 13 fitted to be rotated around a shaft and positioned so as to hook with the pulling mechanism for delaying the rotation of the spool 13, and the hooking generates heat, then the heat induces thermal expansion in a direction of the shaft. In the fishing reel 9, the spool 13 is supported so as a bearing fitting means to be thermally expanded in the shaft direction of the spool 13 and the increase of the pulling force generated when the movement of the spool 13 is suppressed in the shaft direction is reduced. Further, the bearing fitting means is composed of plural bearings 10 and 12, and one (10) of the plural bearings is provided in a pocket of the spool 13 so as the spool 13 to be hooked on an outer periphery of the spool 13 without suppressing the spool 13 by a force other than a frictional force.
