PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To package a glass plate automatically and smoothly without damage to it. SOLUTION: Glass plates G are horizontally placed on a bottom frame 1, while a back frame 3 is provided at the rear of the bottom frame 1 so as to come into contact with the rear end surfaces of the horizontally placed glass plates, and a side surface press frame 13, the position of which can be adjusted, is provided on each side of the bottom frame 1. A front side press frame, the position of which can be adjusted, is provided on the front side of the bottom frame, while an intermediate partitioning plate 9, the width of which can be adjusted, is releasably provided at the center of the bottom frame.
