PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate internal threading and tying operations of a fishing line without limiting the reduction of weight and conditions of the tip of the tip top rod. SOLUTION: This fishing rod is obtained by housing a small-diameter middle rod 2 in a large-diameter rod 1 and housing a tip top rod 3 in the middle rod 2 so as to freely shake out and joint. A top fishing line guide 4 is attached to the tip of the tip top rod 3. The top fishing line guide 4 is integrally formed from a long cylindrical part 4a and a tip part 4b extended from the cylindrical part 4a to the front into a trumpet form and the outside diameterϕ4 of the tip part 4b extended in the form of the trumpet is formed into a small diameter capable of being housed in the inside diameterϕ2 of the middle rod 2. An engaging tool 5 is freely detachably fitted with the outer periphery of the long cylindrical part 4a of the top fishing line guide 4. The engaging tool 5 is formed of a natural rubber or a synthetic rubber having the elasticity in the ring shape to form a through-hole 5a in the center. The outside diameterϕ5 is formed into a larger diameter than that of the tip inside diameterϕ2 of the middle rod 2.
