PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the machining property of a mating face on the cylinder head side and facilitate the control such as maintenance of accuracy and deburring work in casting, in a cylinder of a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine having a cast sleeve integrally. SOLUTION: This cylinder 1 consists of a cylinder barrel 2 and a sleeve 3 integrally incorporated by casting when the cylinder barrel 2 is cast, and the sleeve 3 has a skirt part 3a protruding from a cylinder barrel main body part. In this case, the sleeve 3 is cast inserted into the cylinder barrel 2 at the time of casting including an outer peripheral face 3b and a lower end face 3c of the skit part 3a and an upper end face 3d on the opposite side to the skirt part 3.
