MULTILAYER PAPER MACHINE WIRE FOR DEHYDRATION AND PAPER LAYER FORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject paper machine wires designed to reduce wire mark occurrence and increase wire abrasion resistance through being furnished with weft threads alternating between the traveling surface and the central part of the lower fabric. SOLUTION: Paper machine wires are designed to be furnished with a two- layer fabric through interweaving weft threads 1 into the upper fabric 3 and lower fabric 4 mutually bound through warp threads 2; wherein the weft threads 1 alternately move between the traveling surface A and the central part B of the lower fabric 4 so as to protect the warp threads 2 from abrasion due to their contact with the dehydration and guide elements in the paper layer forming section and also represent an additional cushion against wire marks of a web caused by the lower fabric 4.
