PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a laminated sheet from getting wet with a refrigerant. SOLUTION: A passage 1 of a refrigerant is provided. This invention relates to a method for checking leakage of a cooling plate 3 used for cooling a heated workpiece 2 while the refrigerant is distributed through the passage 1 after the workpiece 2 is heat-molded. An air is injected in the sealed passage 1, and the air pressure in the sealed passage 1 is measured. Lowering of the air pressure is measured, so that leakage of the passage 1 can be checked before the refrigerant 1 is supplied to the passage 1.
