PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method capable of removing fluorine, etc., in fluoroboride-containing waste water in a very short time by adding aluminum hydroxide-containing dehydrated sludge, and aerating. SOLUTION: A process adding an aluminum compound to the waste water containing the fluoroboride such that aluminum element becomes 0.1-5 mols with respect to one mold fluorine element contained in the fluoroboride, and being held at <pH6 and aerated, is provided. Besides, the aluminum hydroxide- containing sludge nay be added as this aluminum compound. The fluorine component can be immobilized in a short time by aerating. Besides, the boron component can be immobilized by adding a magnesium component, and other components such as lead, can be immobilized by adding an iron and/or an aluminum component, etc.
