PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a transfer device mounting easy by arranging the transfer device for feeding a work in a manner for facing to a front side of a press machine from a bolster right-left direction end part vicinity, fixing a base end of the transfer device on a bolster upper face nearby the end part, installing an elevation device to the transfer device, and by transferring the work from a work receiving stand to a given position with a work holding tool of the elevation device. SOLUTION: A transfer device 6 is mounted to a bolster 8. A work mounted on a work receiving stand 4 is held with a work holding tool 2. An elevation device 3 ascends and runs to a given position. The elevation device 3 descends and delivers the work to a bottom die 1. The elevation device 3 ascends and the work holding tool 2 goes back to a position where the tool 2 does not interfere with an upper die. The upper die descends and carries out a press processing. After the press processing is finished, the work holding tool 2 transfers the product to a product receiver. The work holding tool 2 moves to the work receiving stand 4 and transfers the next work. The elevation device 3 is preferable to be constituted with a linear actuator or a linear motor.
