PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical for blending with an adhesive which reduces weight reduction rate, reduces weight reduction by rotting and excels in insect- repellence, anti-rotting, ant-repellence, and anti-fungus effect, remarkably increases chemical recovery to about 100%, prevents prevalent inclusion of the chemicals by adhesives and shows enough performance by dispersion of the chemical components, and, at the same time, requires small quantity of the chemicals, by blending an org. phenolic chemical and chemicals for insect- repellence, anti-rotting, ant-repellence, and anti-fungus together in the adhesive. SOLUTION: This is a chemical for blending with an adhesive used in making a wood material or a wood composite material having insect-repellent, anti- rotting, ant-repellent, and anti-fungus characters, prepared by bonding and laminating with an adhesive blended with insect-repellent, anti-rotting, ant-repellent, and anti-fungus chemicals in the adhesive, and the chemicals blended are both org. phenolic chemicals represented by monovalent phenol derivatives such as 2-phenylphnol, 3-methyl-4-chlorophenol, etc., and the insect-repellent, anti- rotting, ant-repellent, and anti-fungus chemicals except org. phenolic chemicals.
