PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-storied house which is kept in harmony with a neighboring residential environment and comfortable to live in as a two-family home. SOLUTION: In a three-storied house, a large balcony is frontward protruded on a front side on a second floor, and a frontward protruding room with a gate motif 4 is arranged so as to face the large balcony, whereby the periphery of the room with the gate motif 4 is enclosed by the large balcony. Above the gate motif 4 formed on the second floor, a roof portion covering rooms on the third floor is formed into a flat appentice 15. Further, a first floor is designed as a parent generation zone, the third floor is designed as a child generation zone, and a second floor on which the gate motif 4 is arranged is designed as a shared zone. Still further, the entire roof inclusive of the flat appentice 15 is formed into a flat roof 16, and an elevator reaches the flat roof 16. In addition, a roof life space is provided on the flat roof 16.
