PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the visibility of the information concerning carrying failure and facilitate the analysis of the carrying failure by simultaneously displaying the output of a carrying failure information analyzing means and the output of a carrying route display means on a carrying failure information display means. SOLUTION: An operation/display means 1 displays the operation and setting/ operating state of an image forming system. A JAM history memory means 2 stores the history of JAM occurred in a device. An image forming means 3 has a carrying mechanism for recording medium, and performs an image formation on a recording medium by electrophotographic method. A control means 4, which controls each means 1-3 to control the image forming operation, particularly controls JAM history display and JAM history analysis. In maintenance, the JAM history image is displayed on the operation/display means 1. The easy sectional view display part of the device is the area for displaying the easy sectional view of the device and also the selection part for visually notifying of the position within the device where JAM occurred, and selecting the JAM occurrence position on the sectional view. |
