PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance construction properties and appearance by reducing the number of used anchoring tools, and preventing exposure of the anchoring tools. SOLUTION: This double sliding door includes a square frame 2 comprising a top frame 2a, a bottom frame 2b and right and left vertical frame 2c, 2c, all of which are attached to the skeleton T of a building, and sashes 3a, 3b mounted in the frame 2, the sashes 3a, 3b comprising a glass panel 12 fitted into a square rail body 11 consisting of a top rail 11a, a bottom rail 11b, and right and left stiles 11, 11d, all of which are made of a synthetic resin. Reinforcement 16 is fixed to the indoor side of either the meeting stile 11d of the stiles 11c, 11d or a principal rafter stile 11g along their longitudinal direction and end caps 18 are mounted at both ends of the reinforcement 16 and are fixed in place by means of screws 17 for fixing the reinforcement 16. A cover member 19 is mounted on the reinforcement 16 and has both ends inserted into the end caps 18. |
