PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decompose the contaminant bonded into the recessed parts of a tile having recessed parts formed on the surface thereof by photocatalytic action. SOLUTION: TiO2 particles 3 are held in the recessed parts formed on a tile substrate 1 through a glaze layer for the purpose of preventing a slip. When these recessed parts are formed, a contaminant enters the recessed parts and hardly removed but, by holding the TiO2 particles 3, the contaminate in the recessed parts is decomposed by photocatalytic action and can be simply removed. Therefore, the interiors of the recessed parts wherein a contaminant is easy to accumulate can be kept clean. |
