QUICK EXCHANGING SYSTEM FOR PRINTING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly exchange the parts of a printing machine for a new printing operation. SOLUTION: These robots 41 and 42 include a pair of lift assemblies, which can move horizontally between a support frame 33 in the region of a staging part and a printing machine 20. Each lift assembly has a lifting mechanism movable vertically and a plurality of lifting cups for engaging with the end parts of the parts of the printing machine. The lifting cup can be independently operated and be moved to a desired part even from any printing deck to any position on the support frame 33. In movable printing parts, a plate cylinder 25 and a carriage assembly are included. The carriage assembly has a frame, an anilox roller assembly mounted in the frame and an ink container mounted on the frame.
