PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repair a damaged screw part by providing a cylindrical main body made of a flexible raw material and elastically deformable by cutting off a part, a flange part circumscribed to the main body one end and one or two or more screw parts arranged on a main body inner wall. SOLUTION: When a screw part 4 or 5 of an opening part 3 of an illuminating round hole cover 2 fixed to the lower end of an electric box 1 is damaged, both damaged/undamaged screw parts are cut off by an exclusive cutter. Next, a C-shaped screw part auxiliary ring 11 by cutting off a part is elastically deformed to be pushed in the box 1 from the opening part 3 in a diametrically contracted state, a cylindrical main body 12 is pulled back by elasticity of the ring 11 to be allowed to abut to an inner wall of the opening part 3 so that a flange part 13 is engaged with an inside end part of the opening part 3. A pair of opposed screw parts 14, 15 of an inner wall of the cylindrical main body 12 is positioned in the cutoff screw parts 4, 5 so that the ring 11 is installed in the opening part 3. Only a damaged screw part can be repaired without replacing work of a cover, and a pitch of the standard-restricted screw parts can be accurately reproduced.
