PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate a cylinder causing fuel leakage in the downstream of a flow restriction valve from a fuel supply conduit pipe irrespective of an operation condition of an internal combustion engine even if the leakage is small relatively. SOLUTION: An injection unit 6 has one injection valve, one control valve, one flow restriction valve, and one injection nozzle. One controller 1 for operating respective control valves is provided. The flow restriction valve arranged in the upstream of the injection valve is closed when an amount of fuel passing through it reaches the maximum value and is opened again for the first time when a fuel supply conduit pipe 9 in the downstream of it is shut off. Respective injection units 6 have one sensor (14, 16), respectively, and a leakage In the downstream of the flow restriction valve is detected by the sensor. The controller 1 increases an injection time of a cylinder 7 causing the leakage so that an amount of fuel correlated to the injection time is larger than the maximum amount.
