PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve dust collecting efficiency, to reduce the temperature rise of a motor and to improve durability by disposing in a suction part, a dust scoop-up member driven in rotation by a motor, sucking dust from the suction part by the motor, and feeding exhaust air of a motor driven blower to the suction part side through an exhaust passage. SOLUTION: Exhaust air from a motor-driven blower 4 is discharged from an exhaust port 25 and an exhaust part 26 through an exhaust passage 27 to the floor surface through an exhaust part 24, thereby flinging up dust on the floor surface, and simultaneously, forming a circulation current flowing from the exhaust part 24 through a suction part 2 into an intake part 15, so that the movement of dust to a dust collecting part 3 can be facilitated to heighten the dust collecting efficiency. By the multiplier effect of scoop-up and the circulating current by the rotation of a brush body 30, the dust collecting efficiency can be heightened. Further, exhaust air is applied to a motor 32 to restrain temperature rise in the winding part and a sliding brush to improve durability, even if the output of the motor 32 is increased.
