PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate problems such as breakage of a sheet, difficult supply of a feed and practice of transplanting operations and a reduced survival rate though a crawl is conventionally formed on the sea surface and seeds and seedlings just after hatching are made to stick to a polysheet collector and reared. SOLUTION: This crawl is obtained by installing holes 1 for assembling, notches 4 for fixing ropes 3 with attached seaweeds and holes 7 for pouring seeds and seedlings just after hatching in each corrugated type shelf board, additionally installing columns 10 for assembling in an outer frame 8, stretching the ropes 3 with the attached seaweeds over the shelf board, inserting the columns into the holes 1, carrying out the assembling, placing the assemblage in a minnow pocket 11 or a pocket 12 such as a flannel cloth, placing the seeds and seedlings just after hatching from the resultant integrated columnar holes 13, making the seeds and seedling stick to each shelf board or the seaweeds such as wakame seaweed and increasing the adhesion surface. A parent abalone treated with ultraviolet rays and seawater can be placed in a cage 14 and subjected to spawning, fertilization and hatching. The transplantation can sufficiently be carried out by exchanging the shelf board having the mounted ropes 3 with the attached seaweeds. The whole ropes 3 with the attached seaweeds are fixed and the seaweeds are grown using excrements of the seeds and seedlings as nutrients to provide a feed for the seeds and seedlings. Oxygen required for the seeds and seedlings is supplied to raise the dissolved oxygen content and improve the environment in the crawl. Both the hatching rate and the survival rate are raised.
