摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level measuring method for grasping the level of molten material in the furnace hearth part of a blast furnace, and an instrument therefor. SOLUTION: Relating to the level measuring method of molten material in the furnace hearth part of the blast furnace and the instrument thereof for grasping the level of the molten material in the blast furnace, at least two sets of electrodes 6 exposing the tip part thereof into the furnace wall are arranged in the vertical direction in the furnace wall brick at the lower part from the lower part level of a tuyere in the furnace hearth part 1 of the blast furnace and each of the electrodes 6 is connected through a voltage adjusting mechanism by leading the other ends of the electrodes 6 to the outer part of the blast furnace to form an electric circuit with the electrodes and the current is made to flow into the electric circuit from the voltage adjusting mechanism 20 to measure the current quantity flowing in the electric circuit. The level of the molten material in the furnace hearth part of the blast furnace can always be grasped with a simple constitution in a blast furnace operation.
