PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a article storage facility generating extremely small noise. SOLUTION: A loading and carrying part 5 to load and carry an article to transfer the article between an article storage part 1 on an article storage shelf and itself is movably provided between the transfer position for the article storage part 1 and the position for carrying articles in/out of the loading and carrying part. The article is loaded and carried between the loading and carrying part 5 located at the transfer position and the article storage part 1, and the article is loaded and carried between the loading and carrying part 5 and the article carrying-in/carrying-out part by the loading and carrying part 5 located at the article carrying-in/carrying-out position and a carrying device for the carrying-in/carrying-out part provided on the article carrying-in/carrying- out part, and the carrying device for the storage part, the carrying device for carrying-in/carrying-out part, and the loading and carrying part 5 are provided with a roller conveyor for rotation to load and carry the article.
