PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel for culturing a mushroom, Flammulina velutipes, that can reduce the costs for installation and paper winding because the use of two-forked elastic clips becomes unnecessary by holding the sector shaped paper on the mouth of the vessel by a specific method with the workability for paper-winding operation improved. SOLUTION: When a sector-shaped paper F wound around the mouth W1 of a culture vessel W for the mushroom is fixed and held to the mouth W1, an elastic ring 17 that is preliminarily set to the mouth W1 is allowed to move on the paper F and fix and hold the paper F to the mouth W1. The culture vessel holding unit for the mushroom may be provided with a paper-winding mechanism that can wind the sector-shaped paper F around the mouth W1 of the culture vessel W and a transfer mechanism that can allow the elastic ring that is preliminarily set to this mouth W1 to move on the sector paper F wound around the mouth W1 and fix and hold the paper to the mouth.
