POLYPROPYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene resin composition having a high rigidity, impact resistance and surface hardness. SOLUTION: The titled composition comprises (i) from 30 to 90 wt.% propylene polymer wherein a) the intrinsic viscosity [η] (measured in decalin at 135 deg.C) is from 0.8 to 5.0 dl/g; b) the decane insoluble content at 64 deg.C is from 99,5 to 80 wt.%; c) the decane soluble content at 64 deg.C is from 0.5 to 20 wt.% and; d) theα-olefin structural unit (excluding propylene) content in the decane insoluble portion at 64 deg.C is from 0 to 50 mol% and (ii) from 10 to 70 wt.% syndiotactic-structured propylene/ethylene copolymer which substantially has a syndiotactic structure and contains from 99 to 50 mol% propylene structural unit and from 1 to 50 mol% ethylene structural unit.
