<p>The present invention relates to stable subtilin and methods of producing it. A preferred method comprises one or more of the following steps: applying an acidified composition, comprising a subtilin having a naturally-occuring amino acid sequence, to a hydrophobic interaction column under conditions effective for the subtilin to bind to said column; and eluting said subtilin from the column with an effective elution reagent to form a composition comprising stable subtilin.</p> |
