The swivel bearing has a bearing bolt and bearing plate and cams. The wedge-shaped rise of the back faces of the cams (5) on the bearing bolt (1) and/or in the bearing plate is at least flattened out in a partial area (15) at the back, with the flattened area widening out towards the apex of the cams. The flattened areas of the back faces of the cams can have a pitch which is reduced relative to the pitch of the non-flattened areas.
