POLYMERIC SURFACE FILMS AND METHODS OF USE

A water soluble polymeric material which can be used inn aqueous cleaning compositions for hard surfaces, and a method for such use. The compositions provide a streak free shiny appearance to a variety of surfaces; i.e., glass, mirror, shower tile, and plastic surfaces, without wiping or scrubbing. A resulting polymeric film can provide a visually undetectable protective film barrier which prevents hard water spotting and soap scum build-up.
