The apparatus (1) includes a domestic water reticulation means (2) and a fire water reticulation means (3). The apparatus (1) is mounted in a multi-storey building. The building is divided up into two pressure zones, namely a high zone (5) and a low zone (6). It follows that the reticulation means (2, 3) are divided into a higher reticulation level (7) and lower reticulation level (8).
