In the production of light protection formulations containing organic light-protection filter(s) (I) in solid, finely-divided form, (I) is first brought into solution, then precipitated, and the precipitated (I) is incorporated in a suitable cosmetic base. An Independent claim is also included for light protection formulations obtained.
