A printer for wrapping paper comprises a cartridge holder (40) having an ink nozzle (18) on the outer surface and capable of receiving an ink cartridge (50) therein, an ink feed passage (79) formed in the cartridge holder (40) and establishing communication between the ink cartridge (50) and the ink nozzle (18), and a linear actuator (80) supported by the cartridge holder (40) for pushing a plunger (52) inside the ink cartridge (50) into ink cartridge (50).
