The housing of the solar heat collector is a self-contained, load-carrying closed shell (1) made of a heat insulating material. Independent claims are also included for structures for fixing the collector onto or into roof structures. Such fixing structures incorporate respectively a mounting rail and a connector frame onto/into which the collector is installed with a gap.
