The pump has a centrifuge (2) to pressurize a fluid (5), and fluid intake and outlet pipes. The outlet pipe (4) is connected to a pressure tube (6), which is immersed into the fluid and projects into the centrifuge. An opening (7) of the pressure tube is positioned at right angles to and against its direction of rotation. The pump (1) is part of an oil feed system for bearing support for high-speed rotors. The bearing support consists of a bearing contained in a housing and fastened to a shaft (10), and an oil damper located between bearing and housing. The shaft is the turbocharger shaft.
