<p>Imidazole compounds represented by general formula (I) and salts thereof and medicinal compositions containing the same. These compounds are useful in treating diseases which can be treated based on the hypoglycemic effect thereof, and diseases which can be treated based on the cGMP-PDE inhibitory effect, smooth muscular relaxant effect, bronchodilating effect, vasodilating effect, smooth muscle cell regulatory effect and allergy-inhibitory effects thereof, wherein each symbol is as defined in the description.</p> |
