<p>A pulse generator circuit which comprises a power supply source (1) for outputting a high voltage signal. A first capacitor (4) is charged with the high voltage signal output by the power supply source (1). A load device (7) is supplied with the high voltage signal charged in the first capacitor (4). A semiconductor switch (8) together with the first capacitor (30) and the load (7) constitute a closed loop. A first diode (3) is inserted between the power supply source (1) and the closed loop. A second diode (30) is inserted in a closed loop and operates to suppress electrical vibrations. The second diode (30) has an opposite polarity to that of the first diode (3). A snubber circuit (40-42) is arranged in parallel across the second diode (30). This snubber circuit (40-42) comprises a second diode (40) with an opposite polarity to that of said first diode (30), a second capacitor (42) in series with said second diode, and a first resistor (41) in parallel with said second capacitor (42). <IMAGE></p>
