PURPOSE: A lance water pressure tester of a furnace is provided to easily confirm the state of leakage or the generation of cracks on maintaining and repairing lances such as an oxygen lance, a sub-lance and so on used in a furnace. CONSTITUTION: A lance is placed in a lance arrangement stand(34) to place a water supply pipe(30) and a draining connection pipe(31) on an upper part of a rail plate. Rods(67-1,67-2) of a cylinder are ascended, and a supporting plate ascends along with an inner side face of the rail plate. The water supply pipe(64) and the draining connection pipe(65) are inserted each water supply pipe(30) and draining connection pipe(31). Herein, when a compression pump is operated, the cooling water of a compression tank is compressed in the pressure indicated in a pressure gauge and is supplied to the water supply connection pipe through a water supply hose. The cooling water of high voltage circulates a cooling jacket and a circulation jacket inside the oxygen lance, and water pressure is generated inside the oxygen lance into the pressure of the real furnace. Thus, a water pressure tester of the oxygen lance(11) exactly judges the crack of the oxygen lance after lasting more than thirty minutes.
