METHOD FOR RECOVERING THREE DIMENSIONAL IMAGE USING DEPTH FROM DEFOCUS(DFD) TECHNOLOGY

PURPOSE: A method for recovering three dimensional image using depth from defocus(DFD) technology is provided to receive image signals and recover three dimensional image automatically by using a DFD algorithm and program of the camera and a stepper motor controller. CONSTITUTION: A method for recovering three dimensional image using depth from defocus technology includes one camera. The method is regarded as a shape from defocusing method. The method acquires the depth information and recovers the three dimensional image rapidly.
