PURPOSE: An electronic commerce method is provided to offer various kinds of product information for member retailers, let the retailers request a purchase over the internet for a visiting consumer, and send the requested product to a retailer requested by the visiting consumer. CONSTITUTION: An electronic commerce method comprises steps of a server computer operation company(24) storing classified product information and subscribed retailer membership information at a database in a server computer, the server computer operation company(24) offering the product information according to the accessed retailer(22) via an online network, the accessed retailer(22) showing the offered product information for a visiting consumer(20), the server computer operation company(24) making the retailer(22) request the wanted product and pay for the product on behalf of the visiting consumer, and a delivery company(26) delivering the requested product to the retailer. The consumer(20) can designate another retailer as a delivery place. The electronic commerce method is supported by a plurality of retailer terminals, a network, a server computer and a plurality of databases.
